As I indicated in my About page, the main purpose of this blog was to write about my experiences traveling the world and more specifically, my faculty led trip to Brussels in March. However since I’m enjoying writing these posts so much, I’ve decided to reach beyond the original purpose of my blog and add a new section that focuses on other topics and aspects that I find interesting.

Some readers have noticed that my real first post, which can be found here (in case you missed it), closely resembles the format found on a very popular and widely available website known as Cracked.com (America’s only humor site). Keep in mind that this really isn’t a coincidence. Cracked is one of my favorite sites to visit, not just for their incredibly witty articles but for their brilliant columnists and infinite amount of dick jokes. I regularly spend three or four hours a day on that site, so that format will often be used because it’s what I’m used to reading and it’s really quite effective. So as a gift from the man who has everything, I present you all my new section titled “From the Mind of an Eccentric” which will feature everything from my abstract annotations to zealous zingers (get it? A to Z??). Luckily, this section of my blog is independent of my Brussels section and is therefore not graded by my professor, so I am not bound by a certain level of quality or content that is expected from a graduate level student.
