Ok, I know exactly what you all are thinking. “Devin, it’s been SIXTEEN days since you’ve posted anything on your blog!” To that, I am thoroughly sorry. I must admit that my life right now has become increasingly hectic and finding time to simply breathe has been very challenging. So before I hear any comments about how I must be involved with some sort of drug cartel or that I’m conspiring to murder someone because I’ve only posted once this month, you at least owe me a little explanation.

First of all, I just started working full time at the hospital, which means I now get the benefits that most organizations give to their full time employees. Being full time also means that they expect more out of me and that I make use of my entire time there and take a mandatory half hour lunch break (not really relevant but at least, lunch). Not to mention that I’m a full time student in a graduate program that seems to love scheduling everything all at once and for which I’m currently trying to study for a four hour long exam that is taking place on MONDAY (that’s just two days away for those of you keeping track at home). Not to mention that two of the blogs I love to read, A Caffeinated Brunette and Gen Y Girl are putting me to shame with consistent and wonderful posts (really, check them out. Those two girls are phenomenal writers and deserve so many more followers). So my free time has been pretty much taken over by those two things for the past couple of weeks but I promise you, my dedicated, faithful and lauded readers that I will have a full fledged, honest to God real post later on this week. I may not know exactly what the topic will be or when it’ll be up but not to worry, I would never break a promise to those who keep my writing muscle strong.
