It was two years ago when I began this blog as a requirement for my travel abroad journal and after two extraordinary trips to Europe and a catalog full of memories, I’m back here in year three, not to begin another abroad diary but to start another journey.

This journey isn’t one with set destinations or a convoluted itinerary but rather a journey that spans a lifetime held together by two people who want nothing else in this world but each other.

You may have noticed a few changes around here from the new blog name to the new url. This is simply because I’m repurposing this blog to transcend from the travels of just one but to the lifetime travels of two, Lauren Kirschman and myself.

You remember Lauren, right? Known for being in the corners of most of my Italy pictures?

On January 16, 2015, Lauren accepted my marriage proposal and it has been a frantic craze of endless research, appointments and planning; thus, this site got revamped. As we move into the next phase of our lives together and begin wedding planning, I have decided to make this site a joint venture between Lauren and myself to provide updates on not just our travels around the globe but rather a conduit of information about us, our wedding, honeymoon and beyond. This post is just one of many that we will have in a new category fittingly named “Tying the Knot.” We are both ecstatic to begin a new chapter in both our lives and are very excited to have you all along for the journey!
