Yes, yes I hear you loud and clear. I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted but as it turns out planning a wedding tends to take a fair amount of time (who knew right?). Even though I’ve been bouncing from one meeting or bridal show to another, Lauren has been meticulously planning and scheduling all these things so her schedule, including school, is a billion times worst. So if you see her, do something nice.

On the bright side, all of this planning has produced many details of the wedding that I can spotlight with each post so be on the lookout for those in the coming weeks. To start things off, one of the hardest decisions has been made, a date: September 16, 2016.

Mark your calendars, put a sticky note on your refrigerator, etch this into the wall of your house or…I guess…wait until the save the dates arrive because this is officially the first notice of our wedding and no excuses will be accepted for not knowing about it.

Now just because no excuses will be accepted doesn’t mean I’m not going to help you out in remembering. If you look to the right of the page, you’ll notice a nifty little countdown and at the time of this writing, shows 16 months to go. COINCIDENCE? Actually yes, that exactly what it is.

Since Lauren has been extremely on top of this wedding planning, you’ll all be pleased to know that 90% of the planning is already done and in the coming weeks I’ll be posting on those key details in separate posts. These will be permanently housed in the ‘Wedding’ menu located at the top of the blog. That way, if you need to know any of the specifics they are all conveniently located. In the meantime, let the countdown commence!
