I thought about beginning this post with: “Let the countdown begin!” but as you can all tell already, I have the countdown on the front page in addition to on my whiteboard at work.

Today marks Lauren and my one year Pre-Anniversary in which we have exactly one year to go before the wedding and also the date our anniversary will fall on. Lauren is currently in Chicago on work this week so we are off to a great start.

In all seriousness though it really isn’t about the actual date but rather that were together, loving and enjoying life as a team. We have plans to celebrate this weekend and revel in the fact that we will be married in less than a year. Excitement, joy and nervousness will no doubt follow but isn’t surprising knowing what’s coming.

Before I close this post I have a couple of announcements that will be coming your way:

1. Three new posts will be coming. One about our honeymoon, the second for our registry and the third for lodging information for the wedding. These posts will include everything you could possibly ever want to know about those three topics.

2. Save the dates are in the works and will be mailed in the next month or so. Since we’re including this blog on them, they’ll be sent once I have those posts up.
